June 21, 2013 - Ron Barton, husband of Sonja, informed us that Sonja passed away yesterday. She died of heart failure resulting from complications from a fall two weeks ago. She had only retired a year ago after teaching here at Glenforest S.S. for 29 years. She was 59 years old. There will be no service but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
