It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Mr Forde. I was priviledged to have him as my Principal when I went to Glenforest as a lowly grade niner. He was a very approachable man. Well respected, sadly lost. I send my condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Forde ( Arnie) was a great man. A good friend to my family. I remember in grade 10 he took me to dinner and a Leaf game downtown Toronto. He had seasons tickets. It was a great night and everyone knew his name wherever we went. I felt like I was with a celebrity. His funeral was amazing. He will be missed by a ton of people. Love to you Arnie rest with the angels.
I don't usually make comments on sites, but Mr. Forde was a pretty classy and low key guy. And I will always remember his "Priority, Committment,Self Discipline". For some reason the words stuck with me, even 40 years later, and they are still true; I passed that one on to my kids. Sad to see so many good ones go.
